Chinese New Year Celebrations 2025 in Thailand (วันตรุษจีน 2568 / 2025年泰国新春庆祝活动) are projected to unfold from 19 January to 17 February 2025, with festivities taking place at various locations across the country.
Although not officially recognised as a public holiday, approximately 15% of Thailand’s Chinese-ethnic population will celebrate this vibrant festival from the first to the fifteenth day of the lunar new year, spanning 29 January to 12 February 2025.
Building on last year’s programme, this year’s festivities are expected to include vibrant dragon and lion dance performances, shrine prayers, captivating lantern displays, concerts, and food fairs. Celebrations will take place across cities such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Sawan, Samut Sakhon, Ratchaburi, and Suphan Buri, among others, throughout this joyous period.
