While most major department stores in Bangkok carry IT products, only a few dedicated locations offer an extensive selection of electronics, mobile phones, computers, laptops and tech gadgets at competitive prices.
These hubs are favored by both locals and expats in search of better deals. Many of these malls also provide repair services for mobile phones and computers.
Here are three popular IT malls in Bangkok you should consider visiting:

PHENIX Pratunam (Formerly Pantip Plaza)
Once a leading destination in Bangkok for IT products and services, the former Pantip Plaza was rebranded as AEC Trade Center Pratunam, then AEC Food Wholesale Pratunam, and is now known as PHENIX Pratunam.
After shifting its focus to wholesale trade and expanding its food and retail offerings in late 2021, foot traffic has declined and the number of stores selling electronics, mobile devices, IT products, tech accessories and offering computer repair services has significantly reduced.
The newly renovated mall, which reopened in June 2024, now features a sleek, modern design that rivals some of Bangkok’s top shopping destinations. Once primarily an IT mall, it has transformed into a vibrant spot for dining and shopping essentials, with its tech and electronics section now located on Level 3.
Although the mall is conveniently located in the heart of Bangkok, right next to the touristy Platinum Fashion Mall, its IT offerings are now significantly reduced compared to its heyday.

MBK Center (Mah Boon Khrong Center)
Another popular shopping destination for electronics and tech products in the city center is MBK Center, strategically located between BTS National Stadium and BTS Siam stations.
While MBK offers a wide selection of mobile phones, accessories, and cameras, its range of personal computers and laptops is quite limited. Computer repair services also appear to be scarce (we didn’t come across any during our visit). However, there are plenty of mobile phone repair shops throughout the mall.
If you’re looking for mobile devices or cameras, MBK is a great place to start. However, for a broader selection of computers and other tech gadgets, consider visiting PHENIX Pratunam or Fortune Town.

Fortune Town
Fortune Town has established itself as a top destination for both locals and expats seeking IT products, computers, mobile phones, and other tech gadgets in Bangkok. It’s also a trusted hub for repairing laptops, PCs, and smartphones. Spread across four floors, this specialty mall houses hundreds of shops offering competitive prices on a wide range of tech products and services, despite its somewhat dated appearance.
One downside is its location, which is slightly outside the city center. However, it’s easily accessible via the Phra Ram 9 MRT station and sits just across from Central Rama 9 shopping mall.
If you’re planning to visit the popular Jodd Fairs Ratchada night market, Fortune Town is just a MRT stop away, making it a perfect spot to check out tech products before heading to the market.
