Chinese New Year Celebrations 2024 Thailand (วันตรุษจีน 2567 / 2024年泰国新春庆祝活动) will be held for 2 days from 10 – 11 February 2024 at various locations across the country. While the festival is not designated as a public holiday in Thailand, about 15% of Thailand’s population are of Chinese descent and celebrate this occasion from the first day to the fifteen day of the lunar new year.
Based on past traditions, a series of celebratory activities from dragon & lion dance performances, lantern displays, concerts, and food fairs are expected to take place in Bangkok, Chiangmai, Hat Yai, Pattaya, Ayutthaya, Phuket, Samut Prakan, Trang, Nakhon Sawan, Ratchaburi and more during this festive period.
