After experiencing scaled-down and cancelled celebrations for the past three years, the Thai New Year’s Songkran parties are making a comeback in full force!
From 13 – 15 April 2023, expect local Thais, expats, and foreign tourists to join in the much awaited Songkran festival celebrations without any restrictions this year. In the morning, you can observe the traditional and religious activities before joining in the water fights at noon or parties that take place in the afternoon and evening.

A partially free event in downtown Bangkok to celebrate Songkran, the SUPERFLUID music festival will be held over 3 days from 14 – 16 April 2023.
Other than being entertained by over 30 local artistes and DJs, such as DJ Gail Warner, 4Mix, TyTan, Laz1, HYBS and more, visitors to the event can also participate in traditional water battles to usher in the Thai New Year.

After a three-year hiatus, the most popular Songkran music festival in Thailand is making a comeback! Featuring more than 15 internationally acclaimed DJs such as Tiësto, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nicky Romero, Öwnboss, Lucas & Steve, and many more, partygoers can expect to dance to the best mixes and dance music during the three-night party.
Since the event is held during the Songkran festival, revelers should be prepared to get wet as water cannons will be spraying into the crowd as the party atmosphere gets more intense! However, there will also be designated areas for those who prefer to keep themselves dry.

Siam Songkran Music Festival (Bangkok)

A music festival traditionally held during the Songkran festival in Bangkok, its last scheduled event in 2020 was cancelled due to the pandemic outbreak. After missing in action for 3 successive years, the party is finally back this year at its usual location in downtown Bangkok, Urban Yard RCA.
Headlined by internationally acclaimed DJs Afrojack, Hardwell, and Yellow Claw, and supported by 30+ other local and international artists and DJs, partygoers in 2023’s edition will be in for 3 nights of electrifying electronic dance music (EDM). And if 3 nights aren’t enough, one could get a separate ticket for a fourth night anchored by DJ Headhunterz on the 16 April 2023.
Calling all ravers, come and join this dearly missed party for the first time in 4 years! Do note that there are dry and wet zones at the festival. If you prefer to stay dry, keep yourself to the dry areas.

Andamanda Songkran Festival (Phuket)

For the first time since it opened its doors in May 2022, the newest water theme park in Thailand is hosting a Songkran party. If you’re an Electronic Dance Music (EDM) lover looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok during the Thai New Year, head over to Andamanda Water Park in Phuket to experience great dance music. The renowned water-themed music festival from South Korea is making its way to Thailand this Songkran! Apart from headlining K-pop artists such as Yugyeom of GOT7, CL, Zico, Sunmi, Simon Dominic, Loco, and more, the highlight of the event is the water battle between two groups of performers and partygoers.
When you purchase your tickets, you can choose to be on the same team as the artists you support and get ready to engage in water gun fights with the opposing team. Be prepared to get soaked as a water bomb will explode every 30 minutes to ensure that everyone gets wet, even if you don’t participate in the battles.

Rolling Loud (Pattaya)
Rolling Loud, the world’s largest hip hop music festival, is coming to Thailand this Songkran from 13-15 April 2023. Over 80 regionally and internationally renowned artists will be performing over the course of this 3-night event in Pattaya, including Cardi B, Chris Brown, Travis Scoot, Jay Park, URBOYTJ, ALYPH and more.
