Bangkok Car Free 2024, a two-day event dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability, will take place on the weekend of 21 - 22 September 2024 in the Banthat Thong area. In celebration of World Car Free Day, an 800-meter stretch from Chulalongkorn Soi 20 to Rama I Road will be closed to vehicles in the evenings, transforming it into a pedestrian walkway. Residents and tourists are invited to stroll or cycle along this path to discover lesser-known spots in Bangkok while sampling local snacks and enjoying live music performances.
