Chinese New Year Celebrations 2023 (2023年泰国新春庆祝活动) in Thailand will take place from 14 January - 15 February 2023 at multiple locations across the country. A host of activities from lantern displays, dragon & lion dance performances, concerts, and food fairs have been organized by the Tourism Authority Thailand to celebrate the festival this year.

Songkran Festival 2023 will last from 13 - 15 April 2023. Over the 3 days that mark the start of the Thai new year, locals will perform a series of activities from cleaning their homes, paying respect to elders by cleaning their feet with scented water, to performing religious rituals at the temples. Apart from these solemn activities, it is also a tradition for Thais and foreigners alike to roam the streets and spray water at one another as a symbol of celebration, purification and rejuvenation.

Loy Krathong Festival 2023 (ลอยกระทง 2566) falls on the 28 November 2023. It is the time again to thank the Thai Goddess of Water (Phra Mae Khongkha พระแม่คงคา) for the harvest and her blessings in the past year. On this full moon day in the twelfth month of the Thai lunar calendar, devotees will perform traditions such as releasing lanterns into the river and participate in a series of celebratory activities across the country.
