Wan Lai Festival 2025 (Pattaya, Thailand)

Wan Lai Festival 2025, a post-Songkran celebration that extends the festivities for another weekend in Pattaya, will be held on 18 & 19 April 2025. This event comprises two distinct celebrations: Wan Lai Naklua Festival on 18 April 2025 at Lan Pho Naklua Public Park, and Wan Lai Pattaya Festival on 19 April 2025 at Wat Chai Mongkhon Buddhist Temple. With a perfect blend of spirituality, culture and fun, Wan Lai Festival 2025 promises an special experience for both locals and tourists alike!

Note: While water fights will be part of the event, the organizers encourage attendees to embrace the traditional and religious aspects of Songkran as the main focus of the celebrations.

Wan Lai Naklua Festival 2025 (18 April)

This day blends religious and cultural traditions with lively festivities. Activities include:

• Religious Ceremonies: Buddhist prayers, almsgiving, a monk procession, and Buddha bathing rituals, where devotees pour water over sacred statues for blessings.
• Cultural & Festive Highlights: A water-pouring ceremony to seek blessings from elders, traditional performances, and a floral parade featuring the reigning Miss Universe and Miss Grand.

Wan Lai Pattaya Festival 2025 (19 April)

The celebration continues with a mix of spiritual rituals and joyful entertainment:

• Religious Activities: Food offerings to monks and Buddha bathing rituals.
• Traditional & Cultural Events: Thai cultural performances, a retro dance show, and interactive traditional games like tug-of-war and pole climbing.
• Festival Highlight: A spectacular floral float parade led by monks and a sand pagoda building activity at Pattaya Beach, bringing the event to a meaningful and picturesque conclusion.

Program / Event Schedule

• (7:00am – 12:00pm) Merit-making ceremony, Buddha bathing ritual, water-pouring ceremony on hands of elders, Thai folk games at Wat Chai Mongkhon
