Thao Suranaree Victory Day Celebration 2025 (Ya Mo Korat Festival 2025) is a 12-day event, taking place from 23 March – 3 April 2025 at the Thao Suranaree Monument and the field in front of the Nakhon Ratchasima Provincial Hall.
This annual celebration honours Thao Suranaree, affectionately known as Ya Mo, who led the Thai people to victory over the Vientiane army in 1826. The festival features a wide range of exciting activities, including a grand procession with 7,200 participants performing a traditional worship dance in honour of Ya Mo.
Visitors can immerse themselves in a local food and produce market, enjoy live performances of traditional Korat songs, and attend concerts by renowned Thai artists such as Tilly Birds, Three Man Down, Slot Machine, Pongsit Kamphee, and many more. Additionally, the festival’s highlight is the captivating drone and firework shows, taking place on selected dates.
