Su-Ngai Kolok Countdown 2026 (Narathiwat, Thailand)

Su-Ngai Kolok Countdown 2026, a New Year celebration held right at the border crossing from Kelantan in Malaysia, will be hosted at Sirindhorn Park in Sungai Kolok, Narathiwat Province, over four evenings from 28 December 2025 through the early hours of 2026.

As part of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s (TAT) “Amazing Thailand” campaign, this event embraces the theme “Harmony Beyond Borders”. It aims to promote tourism in Thailand’s southernmost province while also fostering goodwill with Malaysia.

Local residents and visitors from Malaysia will have the opportunity to explore dazzling illuminated light installations that provide perfect settings for memorable photos. Guests can also browse more than 50 stalls offering halal local snacks and dishes, while discovering a wide variety of handmade crafts and products created by Su-Ngai Kolok entrepreneurs and community groups. In addition, visitors can take part in hands-on workshops to experience traditional crafts, including embroidery, rattan weaving, sedge mat weaving, miniature boat making, and more.

Every night, there will be mini-concerts featuring local artists in the lead-up to New Year’s Eve. On 31 December, the main stage will be headlined by Repvblik, a popular Indonesian band, and will feature performances by Thai singers Vid Hyper วิด ไฮเปอร์ and Tum Warawut ตั้ม วราวุธ.

At midnight, fireworks will light up the sky, with the Golok River and the iconic bridge to Malaysia serving as a stunning backdrop.
