Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2026 (Bangkok, Thailand)

Maha Songkran World Water Festival 2026, Bangkok’s flagship Songkran celebration organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), returns from 11 – 15 April 2025 with a refreshed setting at Benchakitti Park and former site of the Tobacco Authority of Thailand, marking a change from its usual home at Sanam Luang.

As with past editions, the festival promises an exhilarating lineup of cultural and entertainment highlights. Visitors can take part in sacred Buddha bathing rituals and sand pagoda building, witness religious processions and parades, and explore a lively Thai food and product fair featuring regional specialties from across the country. An immersive exhibition will also showcase traditions from all five regions of Thailand, alongside spectacular drone shows and live performances by popular Thai artists.

Of course, no Songkran celebration is complete without the iconic water fights, and this event takes it up a notch with live performances by Thailand’s top artists, including Kratae Rsiam, Ink Waruntorn, Palmy, Taitosmith, Tilly Birds, and more.
