Hat Yai Countdown 2025 (Hai Yai, Songkhla, Thailand)

Hat Yai Countdown 2025 (Happiness Illumination), an annual New Year’s Eve celebration in southern Thailand, will take place over three nights, from 29 December 2024 to the early hours of 2025.

Both locals and visitors to Songkhla province and Hat Yai can immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere, exploring the city’s vibrant streets in the evening. Enjoy photo opportunities with stunning light installations along Thumnoonvithi Road, experience captivating light projections on iconic buildings, and catch live performances and mini-concerts on the final nights of the year. The lineup includes popular Thai artists such as Retrospect band, Pun, Yellowskrt & Tara and Zom Marie.

To cap off the celebration, a spectacular 10-minute fireworks display will light up the sky at midnight, welcoming the new year in grand style.
