
Chinese New Year Celebrations 2026 in Thailand (วันตรุษจีน 2569 / 2026年泰国新春庆祝活动) are projected to take place from 7 February to 1 March 2026, with events held at various cities and provinces across the country.
While not officially recognized as a public holiday, the festival will be observed by a significant portion of Thailand’s Chinese-ethnic population from the first to the fifteenth day of the lunar new year, running from 17 February to 3 March 2026.
Building on longstanding traditions, the celebrations will showcase lion dance performances, shrine prayers, dazzling lantern displays, lively concerts, and bustling food fairs. Festivities will take place in major cities including Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Hat Yai, Phuket, Nakhon Sawan, Samut Sakhon, Ratchaburi, and Suphan Buri, among others, providing both locals and visitors with an immersive and joyful experience of this cultural festival.
